Newspaper experience

With 18 years of journalism experience with major South African newspapers in which time having gained a thorough knowledge of the media and an excellent understanding of the needs of journalists, how the media works, deadlines, and good contacts within the various publications are used to the benefit of clients.

• 1999 - 2000: KZN Editor for Business Report on Sunday.
• 1996 -1999: Finance Editor Sunday Tribune responsible for the weekly production and profitability of the newspaper’s finance supplement. During this time I drove the start-up of a computer supplement called On-line, which at the time was a sought after publication for IT advertisers.

• 1989 -1996: Natal Witness – Business/Finance Editor
• 1986 -1989: Natal Witness - Crime reporter, senior general reporter and sub editor, and responsible for the start up the Natal Witnesses property supplement.
• 1982 -1986: Pretoria News - Science, property and general reporter.
